      Long Description: MLdonkey is a multi-platform multi-network peer-to-peer client. It supports several large networks, such as eDonkey, Overnet, Bittorrent, Gnutella (Bearshare, Limewire, etc), Gnutella2 (Shareaza), Fasttrack (Kazaa, Imesh, Grobster), Soulseek, Direct-Connect, and Opennap. Networks can be enabled/disabled, searches are performed in parallel on all enabled networks, but each file is only downloaded from one network, but from multiple clients concurrently.

    Once Darwin Ports has been installed, in a terminal window and while online, type the following and hit return:


      %  cd /opt/local/bin/portslocation/dports/mldonkey
      % sudo port install mldonkey
      Password:
    You will then be prompted for your root password, which you should enter. You may have to wait for a few minutes while the software is retrieved from the network and installed for you. Y ou should see something that looks similar to:

      ---> Fetching mldonkey
      ---> Verifying checksum for mldonkey
      ---> Extracting mldonkey
      ---> Configuring mldonkey
      ---> Building mldonkey with target all
      ---> Staging mldonkey into destroot
      ---> Installing mldonkey
    - Make sure that you do not close the terminal window while Darwin Ports is working. Once the software has been installed, you can find further information about using mldonkey with these commands:
      %  man mldonkey
      % apropos mldonkey
      % which mldonkey
      % locate mldonkey
